The Mechanics Grip
THE HANDLING: The cards are held in a deep posistion in the hand, enabling the left index finger to curl over the end of the pack.
This alters the bias of the grip, allowingthe other three fingers the freedom to move from the side of the pack which facilitates faluse dealing, such as a second deal or bottom deal. This grip is much favoured by card sharps, a mechanic being a specialist in false deals.
Once you get used to it, its a very practical and comfortable grip to use as the picture shows.
