Magic Dice
EFFECT: The magician takes out of a deck, two cards a spectator is given two dice to roll. Then the spectator adds together the top and bottom numbers of both dice and shouts the total out load. The magician turns his prediction cards over and they match the total of the two freely rolled dice.
THE TRICK: The magician takes two cards from a shuffled deck the two cards must add up to fourteen ( 4-hearts ten-clubs.)
Without showing there faces place the two cards onto the table.
Announce that you are going to do a mathematical trick that never fails. Give the spectator a pair of dice and ask him to roll the dice and add the total of the top and bottom of the dice while you are looking the other way.
When he has finished ask him to announce the total number he has ended up with look as if you have made a mistake but then turn over the cards to reveal the two cards add up to the same number.
THE SECRET: The top and bottom of a dice always add up to seven. Which means when the top and bottom of two dice are added together they will always come to fourteen.
